Ballinora Wood is located about 8 kms West  from  Cork City	The woods is 3 kms South-East of Ballincollig and 3 kms South-West  of the Bandon Road / Ballincollig Bypass roundabout

Directions....Take the Ballincollig bypass. After approx 3kms on the bypass, take the 2nd exit which should be signposted for Ballincollig West / Blarney / Kanturk. At the top of this slip road, take the left at the small roundabout and you will come to a T junction. Turn left and go down the hill. At the bottom of the hill, you will come to a junction with a grotto at the other side of the road. If there are a lot of cars parked here, then chances are that the start is up the laneway which is about 50 metres to the East. If there are no parked cars, then take the right at the grotto and proceed right up the hill. You should see the woods now on your left at the other side of the small valley. At the next juction, take a left and keep a lookout for the start from here on.
