Bishopstown Hillwalking Club Photo Gallery  ( Members Photographs )

The club has recently opened an account on the Flickr photo album website. All of the club photos have been moved there.

If you are a BHC member, one of the benefits of membership is that you can now have your own photo gallery on this website.

Please follow some basic guidelines for photos...............

1. Try and submit photos that are scenic and nice to look at. For example, a picture of someone crossing a stream is not very interesting whereas a picture with a lot of scenery in it is.
2. If your photo has a person in it, then that person should be part of the picture, not THE picture. For example, a close up picture of someone sitting on a rock having a cup of tea is no good. A picture of someone ,not in the immediate foreground, with a nice backdrop is.
3. If the person in the photo is clearly recognizable, you should obtain their permission before you submit the photo.
4. Try and avoid pictures on overcast or misty days.
5. The pictures shown in the photo galleries above are a good guide as to what is acceptable.
6. Photos should be of Irish mountains or from overseas BHC walking trips.
7. Please don't expect every photo submitted to be used. Only the most scenic or interesting ones are likely to get into the gallery.
