Garravagh Wood is located about 11 kms West from  Cork City	The woods is 3 kms North-West of Ballincollig

Directions....From Cork, go to Ballincollig and drive through the town itself. On the Western side of the town, you will come to a roundabout (outside a shopping centre and a petrol station). Take the turn off that heads down to the right towards the Ballincollig Regional Park. Pass the park, cross the narrow bridge and you will come to a T-junction. Here, the Iniscarra Bar is on your left and there is a petrol station accross the road.
(An alternative way to get to this spot would be if you come out of Cork on the Carrigrohane straight, take the right at the end and pass the Anglers Rest pub. You are now on the R618. Stay on this road and you will come to the same T-junction after a few kms).
From the T-junction, take a left and after about 3 kms, take the next right for Blarney. After about 300 metres on this road, take a right again onto a small narrow road. After about 1.5 kms on this narrow road, you will see a small dirt track veering off to the right. The registration and start is usually here.
