Rathcormack Mountain Wood is about 25 kms (14 miles) North-North-East of  Cork City and is just 6 kms off the N8, the main Cork-Dublin road.	Rathcormack Mountain Wood is 6 kms to the North-West of Rathcormack.

Directions....First of all, you need to get to Rathcormack which is on the Cork-Dublin road. At the far end of the village (NE side), take the left hand turn off for Ballyhooly. You are looking for the 2nd crossroads on this small road. You should get to it after about 7kms of driving and just as you go over the brow of the hill. Take the left at the crossroads and the start is only a few hundred metres down this road.
Look for Red & White direction markers on the day.
