Blarney is 8 kms (5 miles) North-West of  Cork City	The start of Waterloo wood is in Blarney.

Directions....Take the N20 Cork to Mallow road. Take the turn-off for Blarney. Carry on past the first left turn-off and head into Blarney. The start can be in one of two places. See the map. It might be at the first right hand turn-off or the second one.
Look for Red & White direction markers on the day.
