About the Author
Frank Navratil BSc. N.D. was born of Czech parents in Vancouver, Canada where he completed a degree in physiology and nutrition. In the 1990's he moved to Sydney, Australia where he studied alternative medicine, iridology and clinical nutrition before practicing as a naturopath, iridologist, and nutritionist. Since 1997, he has lived in Prague, the Czech Republic where he currently runs a natural therapy practice, produces an alternative medicine Internet magazine, and directs an international college offering courses in alternative medicine.

Frank has given countless lectures and has taught courses around the world on the subjects of iridology and nutrition. He has also appeared on several television and radio programs to talk about natural means of diagnosing and dealing with disease. He is the author of two books, "For Your Eyes Only" and "The Eye for an Eye Diet" both of which have been translated into several languages.

Based on his clinical research and many years of experience with thousands of patients he has also written and designed the "For Your Eyes Only" series of Iridology courses on CD-ROM and "The Eye for an Eye Diet" series of Holistic Nutrition courses. These courses have been taken by medical doctors, health practicioners, natural therapists and laypeople the world over.

He has worked, too, in Ethiopia where he studied the effects of malnutrition and he is presently cooperating with an Ethiopian Aid agency to fund the development of an Education Center for the prevention of disease there.

His European naturopathic practice is based on natural holistic methods that allow the body to heal itself. These include iridology, nutrition, vitamin and mineral treatment, Bowen therapy, and diet and lifestyle changes.

One of the best, inspirational books I have read in a long time. Frank Navratil explains in a wonderful way about this long mysterious Australian method, in a clear and inspirational way. After reading this book, I was motivated to take a course in Bowen therapy as well as to undergo this therapy for my health problems. It truly is a miraculous method that I think eveyone should know about especially if you have any kind of pain, migraines, or just about any other health problems.
I believe it is one of the long lost secrets to discovering more about how to improve your health. I sincerely recommend you read this book.

The video was just excellent excellent excellent!!!! Gerri Shapiro truly did a masterful job on producing this video!!! Wow, what a tremendous teacher she is. She is so CLEAR and THOROUGH in describing and demonstrating the Bowen Method!!!

My mom also watched it with me, and after the video was over she said, "I sure wish that Gerri lady were in our area because I definitely would go to her for a Bowen session."

Right after I received the tape, my husband and I tried it. He followed along step by step. Gerri made it very simple, as he has NO MASSAGE EXPERIENCE. I was a little scared, so I began to pray and stuck it out. I did as the rest of tape prescribed and went to bed, but without my heating pad and warm rice bag.

The next day I woke up feeling rather strange and prickly all over, like when your foot falls asleep. I drank my water but forced myself to keep moving unless it got painful. Day two, I was mobile like I haven't been in 3 years! Well except for early morning stiffness, which leaves sooner than it used to, I am feeling great! I have had 3 sessions now. Each time during the session there is pain, but thanks to God, to Tom Bowen, to Gerri Shapiro and to my sweet fumbling husband, I am getting better.

I was a skeptic, but it is working. (And I have an inch and a half medical record dating back to January 1999 to attest to all the years of suffering I've had.)
