TEASPACH is a theatre company formed in 2002 by aspiring Limerick
based actors who came together through Centre Stage Theatre School
for Adults.
MISSION STATEMENT
Taking a chance to celebrate inclusion, to uphold standards, to
explore without fear and to challenge the norm.
VISION STATEMENT
TEASPACH is an Irish word, with no direct translation into English.
It means 'verve', of a fiery nature, taking chances, a character
trait of someone or something to be reckoned with. Taking this
as our motto means we are willing to take a chance!
ARTISTIC POLICY
Our artistic mandate is to provide a core body of theatrical excellence
providing opportunities to EMERGING THEATRE PROFESSIONALS IN LIMERICK
CITY AND BEYOND.
TRAINING
Teaspach provide regular workshops...e.g. To date and in collaboration
with the Belltable and Quarry Players we have had acclaimed Actor/Director/Producer
Guy Masterson, Director Geoff Gould from Blood in the Alley with
acclaimed actress Joan Sheehy. Teaspach have also hosted Brian
Desmond from Be Your Own Banana and Andrew Adamson of The Samuel
Beckett Centre, to name a few.
