Church Cleaning The Church Cleaning Roster will expire soon.  We gratefully acknowledge and appreciate the efforts of those who have volunteered their time to this practical service to us during the past year so that our church is presented in a manner becoming worship of God.   A Volunteer Sign-Up sheet is available beside the envelope box for anyone willing to assist.

Pioneers & Friends An afternoon of prayer will take place on this Sunday in Ballyvaloo Retreat Centre.   Beginning with tea/coffee at 1:30 pm and finishing with mass at 5:00 pm followed by an evening meal. Canon de Val will lead the retreat.  Cost of retreat is €20 pp.

Service of Remembrance Wexford General Hospital’s Annual Service of Remembrance will take place on Friday, 8th November 2013 at 19.30 in Clonard Church, Wexford.  Families of patients who died in Wexford General Hospital recently or in the past are cordially invited to attend. 

“Gathering” Concert “The Gathering” with Wexford Folk Orchestra, featuring:  Irish, Scottish, Folk Music, Songs and Recitations. Guest Artist DES WILLOUGHBY (Tenor, of Willoughby Brothers' Fame).  Also Rathangan Folk Group and Members of New Ross Pipe Band in the Riverbank House Hotel, Ferrybank, Wexford on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at 8:00 pm.  Adm €10.  Doors open at 7.30pm.   Tickets available at Door.

Afternoon-Tea Dance In aid of the Irish Senior Citizens’ Parliament (Wexford Division) in the Talbot Hotel, Wexford on Sunday November 17 from 3:00-6:00 pm.  Adm €12.  Music by the Wexford Folk Orchestra.

Keep Fit Classes Keep Fit classes have recommenced in Galbally Hall on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm.  Pay as you go, €5.00 per session.  Further information from Niamh at 087-9567252.  Any queries, please contact me on 087-2797202.

Ballyhogue Gaa Club AGM  All members are asked to attend the Annual General Meeting of Ballyhogue Gaa Club on Friday 29th November 2013 in Bree Community Centre at 8pm. All members old and new will be welcomed. We would particularly like to see a good representation of parents of our underage players and members of our adult playing squads at the meeting.

Bree Utd Fancy Dress Cabaret Bree United are holding a Halloween fancy dress cabaret in Byrnes of Bree on Sunday 27th October. Tickets are only €3 and there will be a door prize and a prize for best fancy dress.

U8 Indoor hurling U8 indoor hurling will resume on Mon 4th November from 7.00-8.00 in Bree Hall. This is for children born in 2006 and 2007, who are 6 years old at present and must have completed one year in primary school. They will helmet, shin guards and €2. Handball Congratulations Ballyhogue Handball Club would like to extend their sincere congratulations to Anthony Butler and Enda Minogue who recently won the Leinster Junior schools handball finals representing Enniscorthy CBS.  The club would further like to congratulate Galen Riordan who won the Senior Leinster title representing St. Peter's college, Wexford.
