Bird Watch CBS

The song thrush is a regular visitor to many of our gardens. We often see one on the school pitch or the Fairgreen where they search for worms. The song thrush is brown with a speckled breast. It is closely related to our first bird of the week, the redwing. Song thrush's song is similar to a Blackbird's but it repeats each phrase, sometimes several times. If you see a lot of broken snail shells near a stone you have probably found a song anvil.
