Blue Tit

We saw a blue tit on the trees beside the river Fergus.

They are a familiar sight in a lot of gardens.

They are small and colourful.

They love to feed on peanuts and are very acrobatic.

In summer they are an enormous help to farmers and gardeners

as they feed themselves and their young on caterpillars.

They often use nestboxes.

They are well known and well loved.
