The Robin

The Robin is a familiar sight in our gardens. When we go on our bird walk we see one near the river Fergus . The robin sings throughout the year. In winter each robin has its own territory and it drives away other robins. It does this in order to protect its food supply. The robin is one of the easiest birds to identify with its red breast. There are lots of stories and poems about the robin.
