Grey Wagtail.

We saw a Grey Wagtail close to Steele's Rock on the river Fergus last week, when we were on our way to the library. Like Pied Wagtails, they constantly wave their tails up and down.

The call is a loud zeet-eet. It feeds on insects, mainly flies, wich it catches by flying out from its perch to grab the insect with a flurry of wings and a spread tail showing clearly the white outer tail feathers.
