Grey wagtail

We saw a Grey wagtail close to Steele's Rock on the river Fergus last week, when we were on our way to the library.

Like Pied wagtails , they constantly wave their tails up and down, mimicking the movement of water and making them difficult to pick out. Their backs are grey but underneath they show a bright yellow lemon colour. They nest close to streams and rivers.
