Golf Classic
The Clann na nGael Golf Classic will
be held in Athlone Golf club on Friday June 6th.
Tee times 7.30am to 5pm and there is an entrance fee of
200 for teams of four.
Anyone interested in entering a team can contact Michael Keena, Declan Rock or any club official.
Summer Camp for 6-10 year olds
Summer Camp for Boys and Girls will run from June 27th
to July 4th in
The camp will run from 10am to 3pm every day. Registration
takes place on Sunday mornings in
It is important that registration forms are returned ASAP, so there is an idea of numbers attending when ordering the gear and therefore no child is left disappointed.
Skills Clinic for 10-16 year olds

Gaelic4Girls, Monksland, Athlone

All are involved in delivering a new Ladies Gaelic Football initiative in Roscommon
Gaelic4Girls Monksland, supported by the Roscommon Sports Partnership and the Gaelic Ladies Football Association, will soon be taking place in Cushla Park, Monksland. The programme is for all girls aged 9-13yr who have never played Ladies Gaelic Football before and residing in the Monksland area. It will run every Tuesday for 6 weeks beginning on Tuesday 8th April at 7.30pm. The fun evening will involve learning the basic skills of Ladies Gaelic football though fun games and drills organised by qualified coaches from Clann na nGael. At the end of the programme the girls will take part in a National Blitz involving other Gaelic4Girls areas. A charge of 2 per session applies.
