Monday 5th May

Ladies U-14 Championship S/F – Clann na nGael 2-8 St. Brigids 1-3 in Johnstown at 12noon.

Minor League – Clann na nGael 0-12 Padraig Pearses 0-12 in Woodmount at 6pm.

Friday 9th May

Division 4 League – Clann na nGael (3) 0-10 Padraig Pearses 0-12 in Woodmount at 7:15pm.

Saturday 10th May

O’Gara Cup – Clann na nGael (1) 0-13 Shannon Gaels 0-9 in Croghan at 7:15pm.

Sunday 11th May

U-16 Div 1 Championship Final Clann na nGael 1-4 Padraig Pearses 1-9 in Hyde Park at 6.15pm.

Tuesday 13th May

Boys U-14 League (3^rd Round) – Clann na nGael v Padraig Pearses in Woodmount at 7pm (MATCH OFF).

Saturday 17th May

Ladies U-14 Div 1 Championship Final Clann na nGael v St. Marys in Rooskey (Kilglass Gaels) at 1pm.

Golf Classic

The Clann na nGael Golf Classic will be held in Athlone Golf club on Friday June 6^th.

Tee times 7.30am to 5pm and there is an entrance fee of €200 for teams of four.

Anyone interested in entering a team can contact Michael Keena, Declan Rock or any club official.

Summer Camp for 6-10 year olds

Summer Camp for Boys and Girls will run from June 27^th to July 4^th in Johnstown.

The camp will run from 10am to 3pm every day. Registration takes place on Sunday mornings in Johnstown.

It is important that registration forms are returned ASAP, so there is an idea of numbers attending when ordering the gear and therefore no child is left disappointed.

Skills Clinic for 10-16 year olds

A Skills Clinic will be held in Johnstown from July 7^th to July 11^th for both Boys and Girls, running from 10am to 3pm each day.

There will be a number of inter-county players visiting each day.

Registration forms are available from club coach Caroline Geraghty in the schools or from the underage managers.

Clann na nGael Girls U-14 County Feile Champions 2008

Gaelic4Girls, Monksland, Athlone

All are involved in delivering a new Ladies Gaelic Football initiative in Roscommon

Gaelic4Girls Monksland, supported by the Roscommon Sports Partnership and the Gaelic Ladies Football Association, will soon be taking place in Cushla Park, Monksland. The programme is for all girls aged 9-13yr who have never played Ladies Gaelic Football before and residing in the Monksland area. It will run every Tuesday for 6 weeks beginning on Tuesday 8^th April at 7.30pm. The fun evening will involve learning the basic skills of Ladies Gaelic football though fun games and drills organised by qualified coaches from Clann na nGael. At the end of the programme the girls will take part in a National Blitz involving other Gaelic4Girls areas. A charge of €2 per session applies.
