We welcome Ciaran Anthony Kerrigan baptized in St.Patricks Church Cloonfad into the Christian Community.
PRAYER MEETING
Prayer Group meet in the Community Centre on Thursday night at 8.00pm.  All are welcome.
There will be a time of prayer “Keep Watch With Me” in Ballinlough Church Friday 6th February commencing at 10.30pm with quiet prayer, reflections, testimony of faith, hymns, ending with Mass at midnight.  All are welcome.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
First Holy Communion ceremony will take place in Cloonfad Church on Sunday May 2nd.  There will be a talk given by Fr. Tod Nolan for the parents of children receiving First Holy Communion this year in the Parochial Hall, Ballinlough on Thursday 26th February at 8pm.
CLOONFAD UTD
Sunday Feb 1st .  Roscommon Cup Rd2 - Cloonfad Utd “B” –v- Roscommon Town.  Kick off 11am.  Cloonfad Utd (Holders) –v Laurencetown.  Kick off 2pm – Both games in Cloonfad.
UNISLIM
Unislim takes place on Mondays in the Hazel, Ballyhaunis from 12.30pm to 2pm (Lunchtime) and again at 8.30pm. 
BADMINTON
Badminton takes place on Tuesday nights in the Community Centre Cloonfad at 9.30pm.
AEROBICS & BODY CONDITIONING
Takes place on Thursday nights at 9pm in Michael Glavey’s Centre.  All fitness levels catered for.
KNOCKATEE CHORAL GROUP
Commencing its spring programme at the home of John & Marion Chudley in Knockatee, Dunmore (093 39938) on Monday 2nd Feb at 8pm.  All singers welcome.
FAMILY LIFE SERVICES
Details of the courses and services available for Spring at the Family Centre, Castlebar can be found on Church Notice Board at the Church Door.

Prayer Group meet in the Community Centre on Thursday night at 8.00pm. 
PASTORAL COUNCIL MEETING
There will be a meeting of the Pastoral Council on Monday night Feb 9th at 8.30pm in the usual venue.  Meeting to discuss the first steps in the Ireland/Africa Partnership, proposed project for Cloonfad community is the restoration of Maize Mill in Mozamba, Mozambique.
PRO-LIFE MOVEMENT
Joe Hosty, Tony Doherty & collectors on behalf of the Pro-Life movement wish to thank everybody that subscribed to the collection last week-end.  Amount collected €230.
FAITH TODAY
A public lecture entitled “How to pray with Scripture” will be given by Fr. Brendan Clifford O.P. on Tuesday night Feb 10th 8-9.30pm in the Dalton Inn, Claremorris.
CLOONFAD UTD
Sunday Feb 8th .  Connacht Cup Rd 3 – Achill Rovers –v- Cloonfad Utd.  Kick off 2pm – The Valley, Achill Sound.  Bus departs Cloonfad at 9.45am.  Anyone who wishes to travel to support the team can join the bus at Cloonfad departing at 9.45am.

SPRING STATIONS
Bookings are now being taken for the Spring Stations in the Cloonfad area of the Parish.  Anyone wishing to have a Station Mass in their home could you arrange to do so at your convenience.

At the inaugural meeting of the Cloonfad/Mozamba partnership project the following officers were elected.  Chairperson – P. McCormack; Secretary –
S.Brennan; Joint Treasurers – T.Godfrey & N. Costello; PRO – T.Fitzmaurice.  A committee has yet to be elected.  A public meeting on the project will be held in the near future.

IRISH BLOOD TRANSFUSION SERVICE
The opportunity to give blood will arise at Scoil Iosa primary School, Abbeyquarter, Ballyhaunis on Thursday 4th March from 4.30 to 8.30pm.

LIVING AN ADULT FAITH IN TODAYS WORLD
In an effort to help adults understand more about their faith, two evening talks will be held in Knock on Monday 1st March, the topic will be ‘Our Church and other Religions’ and on Monday 8th March, the topic will be ‘Living as Church People’. Both talks will be given by Fr. Richard Gibbons. The venue will be the Rest and Care Centre, Knock from 8 to 9pm
CHOIR WORKSHOP WITH FR. LIAM LAWTON
