The committee would like to thank everybody most
sincerely for their very generous sponsorship and to all who helped in
anyway to make the walk successful. The
total amount raised from the walk was €7,210.65 and private donations
were €2,400 – total €9,610.65.
Thanks also to Fr.Tom for his motivation and encouragement in

MOZAMBA/CLOONFAD FUND RAISING WALK
During Saturday night mass a donation of nine thousand euro was presented by Pat Mc Cormack,
chairman of the Mozamba/Cloonfad partnership, to Pat Ayeworth, brother
of Fr. Sean Ayeworth, for the restoration of the grain mill in Mozamba. Also
present was Liam Lyons and members of the committee who organised the
sponsored walk. The committee was thanked for the efforts and hard
work and the people of the locality for their generosity.

East Mayo Special Olymics Network is hosting a ‘Have a Go Day’ on
June 19th in the Sports Ground (Opposite Church) in
Claremorris from 12noon to 3pm. ‘Have
a Go Day’ is organised to give children and adults with learning
disability an opportunity to try out different sports, which will enable
them to choose what clubs/social activities they would like to join in
their own community.
