DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO KNOCK
Tuam Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock will take place on Sunday May 2nd.  Ceremonies start at 2.15pm.

PRAYER MEETING
There will be a 4th Anniversary Mass to mark four very successful years of the Mary Immaculate Prayer Group Cloonfad on Thursday evening May 6th at 7.30pm.  The usual Prayer meeting will follow at 8pm in the Community Centre.  All are welcome.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
Congratulations and Good Luck to the 14 pupils from Cloonfad National School who receive their First Holy Communion on Sunday May 2nd.  James Brennan, Laura Ferguson, Hannah Flatley, Katie Geraghty, Sean Gildea, John Gormally, Michael Gormally, Tommy Kearns, Ciara Kilgarriff, Aisling Kirrane, Orla McDonagh, Charlotte McAnulty, Laura Raftery, Catriona Wright.  Sincere thanks to their Teacher Imelda Burke Flanagan for her wonderful job in preparing the class, also to Mary Regan, Mary Burke and the Choir for the ‘back up help’.  Well done to all.  We wish you all health and happiness in the years ahead.
MOZAMBA/CLOONFAD FUND RAISING WALK
All walkers are asked to hand in their cards and sponsorship before Monday night.  Donations would still be most welcome and can be handed into the committee treasurers Nora Costello/Tina Godfrey or any member of the Parish Council.  The committee would like to thank everybody for their very generous sponsorship and to all who helped in anyway to make the walk successful.  A meeting of the above committee will take place on Monday night in the Community Centre at 9pm.  All members are asked to attend.  Information on Mozamba Project is available on website www.partnershipsireland-africia.com
CLOONFAD UTD F.C.
Sunday May 2
Roscommon Cup Final.  Cloonfad Utd –v- Castlerea Celtic.  Kick off 3pm in Ballinlough.  The Club is urging the local community to support the team as they bid to retain the trophy.
ALZHEIMER ASSOCIATION
The Capital Tea morning held on 17th and 19th April raised a total of €244.92.  Thanks to everybody for their generous support.
MULTIPLE SCELERORIS
The recent MS church gate collection raised €525.  Thanks to everybody for their generous support.

MOZAMBA/CLOONFAD FUND RAISING WALK
The committee would like to thank everybody most sincerely for their very generous sponsorship and to all who helped in anyway to make the walk successful.  The total amount raised from the walk was €7,210.65 and private donations were €2,400 – total €9,610.65.  Thanks also to Fr.Tom for his motivation and encouragement in getting this project off the ground.  The cheque will be presented to Liam Lyons, Westport at Mass on Saturday May 15th.  All committee members are asked to attend the Mass if possible. Sunday May 9
Premier Div.  Cloonfad Utd –v- Skyvalley Rovers.  Kick off 2.30pm in Cloonfad.  Congrats to this team on winning the Roscommon Cup last Sunday.  Thanks to the community for the big support on Sunday.  Well done on this marvellous achievement on retaining the cup.
CLOONFAD N.S.
A meeting of the Board of Management of Cloonfad NS will take place on Thursday night at 9pm.  New infants for school year 2004-2005 can start school on Monday 21st June.

MOZAMBA/CLOONFAD FUND RAISING WALK

During Saturday night mass a donation of nine thousand euro was presented by Pat Mc Cormack, chairman of the Mozamba/Cloonfad partnership, to Pat Ayeworth, brother of Fr. Sean Ayeworth, for the restoration of the grain mill in Mozamba. Also present was Liam Lyons and members of the committee who organised the sponsored walk.  The committee was thanked for the efforts and hard work and the people of the locality for their generosity.

S.M.A. FAMILY DAY
SMA House Claregalway – June 6th  from 2 to 6pm.  You can help by: Baking a cake, donating unwanted gifts such as plants, ornaments, toiletries etc.  All in good reasonable condition. Please hand in by Sat. June 5th.  All proceeds in aid of the Missions.
CLOONFAD CEMETERY
We would like to thank the people from Tonragee station area who did the grass cutting during the month of April. We would ask the people from Mountdelvin and Ballinross to maintain the upkeep of the Cemetery for the month of May. Please arrange to meet at 7.30pm on Monday May 17th.

WESTERN CARE ASSOCIATION
East Mayo Special Olymics Network is hosting a ‘Have a Go Day’ on June 19th in the Sports Ground (Opposite Church) in Claremorris from 12noon to 3pm.  ‘Have a Go Day’ is organised to give children and adults with learning disability an opportunity to try out different sports, which will enable them to choose what clubs/social activities they would like to join in their own community.
DUNMORE COMMUNITY SCHOOL
Enrolment will take place on Tuesday 25th May 2004 at 7pm for the ECDL Computer Course.  This course is suitable for both men and women who have an interest in improving their computer skills and are free 3 mornings a week.  No previous knowledge of computers is necessary.  Course will start September 2004.  Call 093 38203 for further details.
COMMUNITY GAMES
The annual Kiltullagh parish community games athletics events take place in Granlahan sports field on Wednesday evening 25th May.  Events from under 6 to under 16 with the winners going through to the Roscommon finals.  For further info. Contact E.Brennan or B.Cregg.
