KILTULLAGH HILL
The annual pilgrimage to the Hill of Kiltullagh takes place on Sunday May 22nd with Mass at 4pm.
KILTULLAGH MENTALLY HANDICAPPED ASSOCIATION
The monthly meeting of the Kiltullagh branch for Mentally Handicapped Association will be held in Granlahan Community Centre on Thursday April 7th at 9pm.
ALZHEIMER FOUNDATION
The West of Ireland Alzheimer Foundation Tea/Coffee day will be held in the Community Centre after Mass on Saturday night and Sunday morning this week-end.  If you would like to share the care with carers of Alzheimers patients – Please Support.

Div 1   Cloonfad Utd ‘B’ –v- Raharra Rovers in Cloonfad – Kick off 2pm.  The club draw has been put back until Sunday May 1st.
At Mayo Abbey Training Centre a ‘Return to Work’ Failte Ireland Bar and Bar Food Service Skills Training Course will commence on 5th April – two days per week.  Each participant will receive free training, uniform and lunch, weekly allowance and Failte Ireland cert.  Perfect opportunity for adults who wish to return to the workforce. PUBLIC MEETING

Mid Connaught Environmental Concern Group are holding a public meeting on Wednesday 6th April at 9pm in the Community Centre Cloonfad, to discuss the granting of planning permission by Roscommon County Council for a waste plant in Cloonerkaun.  As this is a very important meting your full support is needed on the night.

REMEMBRANCE MASS
A special ‘Remembrance Mass’ for parents who have lost a child will be held in St.John’s Rest and Care Centre, Knock at 3pm on Sunday 10th April.  All Parents who have lost children at any age or in any circumstances and who feel the pain of loss and grief are welcome to attend.

The opportunity to give blood will arise at Scoil Iosa, Abbeyquarter, Ballyhaunis on Thursday 14th April 2005 4.30pm to 8.30pm.

TUAM DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO KNOCK
Takes place on Sunday May 1st. This is a very appropriate day to have a pilgrimage to Our Lady’s shrine.  The pilgrimage will be led by Archbishop Michael Neary and the ceremonies will commence with the “Blessing of the Sick” at 2.30pm
PANTOMINE “UP THE BEANSTALK”
The cast would like to thank everyone who supported this years show.  The proceeds have been divided between Johns Ward, Crumlin Hospital and The Irish Lupus Support Group.  Thank you very much to all concerned.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
First Holy Communion will be celebrated on Sunday May 8th at 11.00am Mass.
EUCHARISTIC ADORATION
Lord Jesus dwells in the Blessed Sacrament “Because of His Love for you”.  The specific way that Lord Jesus asks you to love him in return is to spend one quiet hour with him each week in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament.  Details at all Masses on week-end 14th & 15th May.
TALK BY FR. BENNY MCHALE
In this year of the Eucharist, there will be a talk given by Fr.Benny McHale in the Community Centre on Thursday night April 28th at 9pm.  It would be good if all our Eucharistic Ministers, Members of the Adoration Team, and Parents of children making their 1st Holy Communion could come to this talk.  Indeed everybody is welcome as we are privileged to have Fr.Benny as he is much sought after speaker.

NURSERY THYMES PRE SCHOOL
Nursery Thymes are holding a summer ‘Fair Day’ in June.  Donations of good quality e.g. books, toys, teddies, game video’s, CD’s, ornaments, pictures, plants etc.  Please drop into Community Centre between 9am to 1pm weekdays.
M.S. IRELAND
M.S. recent Church gate collection amounted to €479.07.  Thanks to all who gave so generously and to the collectors.
CLOONFAD ENTERTAINMENT COMMITTEE
Entertainment committee is having an official launch of their ‘Fund-raising Draw’ towards the Christmas Lights and St.Patricks Day Parade events on Friday April 29th in the Griffin Inn.  Music and food on the night.  Everyone welcome.
COMMUNITY CENTRE COMMITTEE MEETING
A meeting will be held in the centre meeting room at 9pm on Monday night.  All are welcome.
