THEOLOGY FROM HOME

Michael Glaveys GAA Club are holding their annual presentation Buffet on Saturday 24th January in the Community Centre Ballinlough.  Tickets available from Club Members.
WANTED: HOUSE TO RENT

Underage Presentation Disco – This takes place in Cloonfad Community Centre on Friday Jan 16th from 8 to 10pm.  All underage players are welcome.  Strictly supervised.

Sunday Jan 11
Div 1.  Cloonfad Utd ‘B’ –v- Lough Harps.  Kick off 11am.  Premier Div – Cloonfad Utd –v- Castlerea Celtic.  Kick Off 2pm.  Both games in Cloonfad.  Cloonfad must win this game in the premier division to have any chance of winning the league.  Your support would be appreciated.
UNISLIM
Unislim takes place on Monday nights in the Hazel, Ballyhaunis starting this Monday night Jan 12th at 8.30pm.
KILTULLAGH HOSPICE SUPPORT GROUP
The winner of the annual Christmas raffle was won by Ciara McNulty, Gorthaganny.  Many thanks to all who supported the draw, and a Happy New Year to everyone.

Cloonfad Entertainment Committee is holding their AGM in the Community Centre on Monday Jan 19th at 8pm.  Everyone is asked to attend this very important meeting.

Cloonfad Magazine Committee is holding their AGM in the Community Centre on Tuesday Jan 20th at 8.30pm.  All members are asked to attend.  New members needed and would be most welcome.

The club is running a bus to Achill for the Connacht cup game on Feb 1st.  Anyone wishing to travel contact Dermot Burke or Noel Heneghan.

Senior men’s league begins on Monday night Jan 19th at 7.30pm.  Check notice board in alley for fixtures.
ENNEAGRAM PROGRAMME

CLOONFAD ENTERTAINMENT
Due to a low turn out at their AGM, the existing Committee have decided to maintain their positions and will now commence arrangements for the St.Patricks Day Parade.  A meeting will be held in the Community Centre on Monday night at 9pm to start these arrangements.  Anyone who is interested in helping out, or putting on a float is asked to come along to this very important meeting, as your help is needed and appreciated.
IRISH CANCER SOCIETY
Would like to thank those who helped out and gave so generously to their recent Church gate collection.  €380 was collected.
VILLAGE REUNION – CLOGHER, COOLCAM, RATHLENA, POLLINARROW, DERRYLAHAN
After the great response of the initial overseas invitations the committee are holding a public meeting & cheese & wine reception in the Hillside, Granlahan on 31st Jan at 9pm to launch the project.  We would welcome new members and ideas on how best to entertain our visitors when they join us next September.  Our next assignment is to invite the people who are resident in Ireland to the function.
