FIRST FRIDAY CALLS
The sick and the housebound will be attended to on Thursday and Friday.  We pray God’s Blessings on all the sick and housebound of our community.

PRAYER MEETING
Prayer Group meet in the Community Centre on Thursday at 8pm.  All are welcome.
MOTHERS PRAYER GROUP
This group meet on Tuesday nights in the Community Centre Granlahan from 8 to 9pm.  New members welcome.  An opportunity for Mothers and Grandmothers to come together and pray for their children and grandchildren.
CLOONFAD UTD F.C.
Cloonfad Utd F.C. hold their AGM on Monday June 9th at 8pm in the Community Centre.  The Club need more members to help out with all the activities it partakes in, so new members will be made very welcome especially on the Women’s football side of the Club.  Congrats to the Cloonfad UTD Senior Team on winning the Roscommon Cup last week.  Well done boys on bringing home the cup.
MICHAEL GLAVEYS GAA
Good luck to Michael Glavey’s U-12 Girls who have qualified for the Roscommon semi-final to be played on Monday evening at 7.30pm in Oran.  Please support those young girls as they attempt to bring success to their Parish and Community.
MAYO/ROSCOMMON HOSPICE
Mayo/Roscommon Hospice foundation are looking for volunteers to help sell Sun Flowers in your area on National Sunflower Days 13th and 14th June.  For further information contact – Administration Office Knock 094 88666 or your local Hospice Support Group.

TEAMPALLAIN MHUIRE RESTORATION
The above committee would like to thank most sincerely the people who gave so generously to the collection for the above project.  They would also like to thank the sponsors for their generous material sponsorship.  Work is ongoing at present and is hoped to be completed in the coming weeks.

HILL OF KILTULLAGH - MASS
The Annual Pilgrimage takes place to the Hill of Kiltullagh on 15th June with Mass at 4pm.
PRAYER MEETING

CLOONFAD UTD AGM
Cloonfad Utd AGM will take place on Monday June 9th at 7.30pm in the Community Centre. All players and parents of underage players must attend.  New members especially welcome.
CEMETERY COMMITTEE
We would like to thank the people from Mountdelvin and Ballinross for the maintenance and upkeep of the cemetery for the month of May.  We would also like to thank the people from Hundred Acres and Meeltraune who were omitted from the last notice.  We are asking the people from the Cloonfad Station area to take care of the maintenance of the cemetery for the month of June.

CLOONFAD MAGAZINE 2003
The committee would like to announce the winners of the Art Competition as follows: 1st Damian Burke, 2nd Michael McGuire, 3rd David Staunton Congratulations and well done to the winners and to all that took part in the competition.  Presentation of the prizes will take place in the Community Centre on Tuesday 10th June at 9.30pm.  Winners and all committee members are asked to attend.   The committee would like to remind everyone that the Feature Village for this year’s edition will be Cloonfad Lower Station Area.  Competition for a Cover Photograph will run again this year and winning photo will be the Cover.  Photograph needs to be a landmark or scene in the Cloonfad or surrounding area, and should not contain people. We are looking for Articles, old photographs, Wedding & 21st Birthday photographs.  Please hand in to O’Malleys or any member of the committee.  Thank You.
DAY CARE CENTRE
Daycare Centre raffle results Winners – Paul Merrick and Thomas William McGuire.  Raffle raised €579.  Thanks to our sponsors in Cloonfad – Keanes, Cloonfad Post Office, John O’Malley and Flynn’s Costcutters.  In Ballyhaunis – Murphys, Statoil, Donnellans, Texaco, Londis, Spar, The Gem, and Supervalu.  Thanks to all our supporters.
NURSERY THYMES
Clonnfad Preschool would like to inform parents that the Open Evening for those interested in enrolling their children for the term commencing September 2003 will take place on Wednesday 11 June, 7.30 - 9pm in Cloonfad Community Centre.  Parents are invited to come along and meet the staff and committee, have a look at the facilities, and receive a copy of our parent’s handbook.  Places are limited and enrolment is on a first come first served basis.  We look forward to meeting you all on the night!.

The Cloonfad Soccer Club would like to wish Darren O’Malley, Patrick Jennings, Kevin Cummins and Damian Reddington well as they play for Roscommon in the Kennedy Cup in Limerick from 16th to 20th June.

Congratulations to all our young athletes who represented their parish Kiltullagh in last Sunday’s Roscommon community games finals.  They did their parish and community proud and special congratulations to Gold Winner – Alma Mannion;  Silver – Darren O’Malley;  Bronze – Daryll Conneely and Daniel Sommerville.
GIRLS FOOTBALL
Good luck to Cloonfad N.S. girls gaelic football team who play in the county schools final in Ballyleague next Tuesday at 5.30pm.  Congratulations to the school basketball team who won the Della Lynch Memorial Shield for a second year in a row last week.

KILTULLAGH MENTALLY HANDICAPPED ASSOCIATION
Sincere thanks for the support received during the recent 24hour fast.  Total funds raised was €4,484.79.  Ballinlough €1,547.87; Granlahan €1,491.34; Cloonfad €1,444.58.
ROSCOMMON WOMENS NETWORK
Hosting an evening for women on Monday 23rd June in the Whitehouse, Ballinlough from 7.30 to 9.30pm.  All are welcome.

SPECIAL OLYMPICS

The Special Olympics ceremony, which was held in Dublin on Saturday the 21st
