What we do - branch activities
These are groups for anyone minding children - a
parent, dad, granny, grandad, childminder, guardian ....whatever applies
to you!
Most of the information here is also in the branch newsletter.
Weekly drop-in groups
There is no need to book these in advance - just
turn up
Weekly smaller groups
Because these are in members houses, you
need to contact us or the co-ordinator (see newsletter) to get more
information
Monthly evening meetings
- Three bookclubs - two meet on first Tuesday
of month, one meets first Monday of month
We
attempt to read a book a month and meet to talk about it. It's
about 50/50 book and just chat, depending on the book :-).
Rotating
venue in member's houses, 9-10.30pm
- Branch library
- We also produce a branch newsletter six times a year
Occasional events
- Santa visit
- Easter egg hunt
- Playground meetings in summer
- Social evenings
- Clothes and equipment sale twice a year
- Parenting courses
- Public talks eg.
