Dear Vampire
is the personal website of vampire Freake of New York and vampire Kildare
in Dublin, two immortals that post regular letters on their life and times,
or should it be death and eternity. Whichever, the site leads one through
a spooky array of pages which are accompanied with plenty of blood dripping
images. Apart from the messages of the un-dead the site allows individuals
interested in things of the night to converse on the linked chatroom and
access vampire-related sites.
The site has
a very rich design with a heavy emphasis on animated imagery. Navigation
through the site is easy as soon as you realise that you are entering a
house-like structure of parlours reading and ranting rooms. The many moving
graphics make page downloading irregular and often delayed. Nonetheless,
it is a truly interesting site, worthy of a visit.

SITE OF THE DAY - DEARVAMPIRE.COM -

http://www.dearvampire.com
This freaky
site is a collection of fictional letters written by the last two Vampires
on Earth, Casper Freake in New York and Mordi Kildare in Dublin. Frankly,
the Vampire theme is a bit overdone and every vampire enthusiast, including
the authors of this site, have their own spin on what the undead are all
about. Yet even the most cynical readers would be forced to admit that
a great deal of work has gone into the site and the content is fabulous.
The writing is superb and creative even if the theme is overdone. There
is no question that the site's authors will move on to bigger and better
projects in their lives (or their after lives) and this site is a chance
to catch them before Hollywood does.

(Dear Vampire)
Make sure
you turn up your speakers before entering this site. It just might have
the scariest voice I've ever heard on a website. Forget the Blair Witch
Project... this is actually a pretty weird situation. The site is about
two vampires, one in New York and the other in Dublin, and the letters
they write to each other.
