Tulca- Festival of Visual Art 2004
Exhibition in Carnaun National School, Athenry, Co. Galway  
 “The Lyshippe Project”, is a body of work which Elizabeth Porritt has been developing throughout the residency and created in collaboration with the children and ’S Mé ag Samhlaíocht was created by the school children during the residency.  
The exhibition will run, in Carnaun School, 
from Tuesday, 16th. November 2004 at 2.00 PM and will run until Friday 3rd. December2004 
as part of the Tulca Festival of Visual Art, in Galway  
Viewing will be from 12.00 – 2.30 pm daily by appointment with the school.  
There will be a late opening on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 7-9pm by appointment.

"Artist in the School - A Response": 
As part of this exhibition a discussion/seminar will be held in Carnaun School, on the evening on Thursday December 02.  
It will focus on the place of art in the school/classroom, children’s creativity, residencies in schools-with particular reference to the Galway experience.  
Invited speakers may include Helen O’Donoghue, Senior Curator at IMMA, Marylin Gaughan, Galway County Arts Officer, Michael Dempsey, GAC, Principal Finbarr O’Regan and artist Liz Porritt.  
This exhibition will also feature in Netdays Europe 2004 
This project is sponsored by Galway County Council and The Board of Management of Carnaun School.
