Without a doubt this is the time of the year we archers really enjoy. The woods are at their most promising and we are all looking forward to the summer season of less rain, less mud, and long days of pleasant competition in good company in great surroundings.

With such thoughts (or without them), loads of competitors gathered in our woods for a great day out. In spite of the laughter and banter, competition was fierce, and some good scores were brought in.
Loughcrew's butts and some of the faces are in deparate need of attention - fervently promised for their next shoot.
