The
lead character, Péneyn Gendouz, in my graphic novel "One is
a peculiar chunk of nutty pudding spinning within an asthmatic tumble
dryer". The story is set on in another solar system on the planet
of Olym. The barren planet is the home of the city of Syndigan, an outpost
worker colony with unscrupulous dealings to their name. The main character,
pictured 5th from the left below, arrives after many months in hyper-sleep.
He is coaxed into conciousness by a randy Syndigan representative and
given pills - untested pills -being almost like a guinea pig for the city
to test its new merchandise out on. What follows is an insight into the
main characters brain as the drugs take hold and he begins his journey
of hallucinations and various encounters with the city's numerous inhabitants..... |
