IHDP doesn't endorse nor receive payment for advertising these services.Do Note: The Irish Heritage DNA Project is a free service. IHDP's administrators will offer free advice and help on any topic relating to Irish family history, Irish history, Irish genealogy and Irish genetic genealogy. If further in-depth research or analysis is required, IHDP will try to make recommendations but will still continue to offer free advice. IHDP does not enter into these services, its individual administrators may offer these services, if so it is on their behalf and not on IHDP's.
Genealogical Pay to View Websites:
The Irish Genealogical Project - This is the official web site of Irish Genealogy Limited (IGL). Irish Genealogy Limited was set up in 1993 to manage and market the Irish Genealogical Project. The website has extensive records, there are general searches which yield year/surname/location which are free. Should you wish for individual records there is a fee, details are all available on the website.
Eneclann - This Irish company publishes extensive Irish records and has an impressive catalogue. It also provides record managemnt and research facillities.
The Irish Times - Irish Ancestor Site - This wonderful research website has a free surname search front-end. It will quickly and easily display the demographic distribtuion, variant names, locations and origin of any name. There are Pay-to-View records which are time limited or individual records which are available for preset fee's.
Irish Origins - The Irish Origin Website is one of the best Pay-to-View sites around. Access is for a time limited period for a specific fee. This allows a researcher access to all of the Irish origins databases and Census documents.
John Grenham - Widely regarded as one of Ireland's most important modern genealogists. He has written many books on Genealogy and is responsible for creating archival recording software (The Irish Times Website is one of John Grenhams creations). He works as a genealogist/researcher and can be contacted at the above website.
