Galway Mummer Festival

                  Our branch once again had great success at the 29th running of the Galway Mummer Festival in New Inn. Although we had no senior group this year, we were well represented by our two junior groups. Our young group, The Wren Boys gave a great performance, showing maturity well beyond their years. It was the first time for many of them but all seemed to have a great time.
                Our older group were once again superb, saving their best performance for the big day. They suceeded in retaining their title after delivering top class music, story, song and dance in the alotted twenty minutes. The individual winners were Tomás Forde, Maeve Forde, Sheena Whelan, Stephanie Broderick and Emma Lynskey.
