All that other 'writing stuff' which I do has sort of been building up towards writing for film.
I love the movies and my ultimate goal is to get some of those words of mine onto celluloid.
(of course, the intermediate goals are all tremendous too!)
Now, thanks to an ultra-cool outfit called Claddagh
Films, that goal might be closer to being scored!
I've completed two screenplays for them and another is currently work-in-progress.
The first completed script is a short film which we hope will go into production in the near future. It's called 'Channel 31' and it's based on my radio play of the same name.
The second is a full length movie called 'An Autumn Affair'. The story is by Dermot Tynan of Claddagh Films and it's set in Northern Ireland.
What do you mean you want to know more?
Okay, click here for a short
snippet of the script.
The next screenplay will be 'Packy's
Cousin' and it's nearly complete.
Here's a piece of 'work in progress'
Will we yet get the chance to pick up old Oscar and proclaim
ourselves to be the new 'King of the World'?
Watch this space!
