Fresh 103 was one of the most novel radio stations to hit Limerick in recent years. Instead of attempting to have part-time DJs with occasional live programmes, Fresh revelled in the "all-music radio" tag and boasted about it's lack of presenters (well, actually, it boasted that it's "presenters" weren't allowed to talk, just play the music!)

As such, Fresh ended up bucking against the trend that was making many of the recent pirates seem amateurish - it wasn't that they didn't have anyone to do a programme at that time - there wasn't meant to be anyone talking.

Fresh gained quite an amount of listenership and interest in Limerick, with many of the shops and restaurants revelling in the "all-music" format, which was punctuated only by occasonal to-the-point jingles, samples of which are available by clicking the play button below.
