In Thailand and Laos, hens and cockerels roam free. So do the pigs in the villages, but I didn't paint a pig.
" Why did the chicken cross the road came to mind very often on the
way up to the border and in Laos. Hens and chicks seem to enjoy living
dangerously on the edge of the main roads and frequently make a dash for
the other side. It led me to ask myself why I am doing something quite
similar! Probably just to find out how uncomfortable I can get. "
