Grainne says 'Hello'

Hello everyone - my name is Gráinne Doherty and I come from Moville, Co. Donegal. I am the new pastoral worker in the Parish of Mount Argus.

Although I come from outside the Pale, I have lived in Dublin for eight years, on and off. After college I taught for several years. I then went to live and work as a lay volunteer in the Philippines for three years. For the last couple of years, I have been working with Parish Development and Renewal in the Dublin Archdiocese.

I am really looking forward to my time in Mount Argus and getting to know you all, I will be in the Mount Argus Community Centre every morning from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm. Drop in if you happen to be passing by - I look forward to meeting you!
