Another Step in the Cause of Bl. Charles

On 21 February 2006, in the Congress Hall of the Congregation for the
Causes of Saints, Vatican City, the Bishop, General Promoter of the Faith,
presided at the discussion of the Theological Consultors.
Concerning the Houben Cause and the presumed miracle attributed to the intercession of Blessed Charles of Mount Argus, the theologians, together with the Bishop Promoter, expressed their positive judgment.
Now the cause will be examined by the Cardinals and Bishops of the same Congregation.
They will then give their opinion to the Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI who will make the final decision.
