Last night a group of men broke into the Leratong Hospice and headed for the room of Fr. Kieran. Hearing the bell Fr. Kieran thought it was a patient and opened the door. They attacked him and he was hit by two shots - one in the arm and another in the lung. At the moment his condition in hospital in Johannesburg is serious but stable. A bullet is still lodged in his lung.

are asked for his speedy recovery.
