Mgr. Donald Paul Healy

The death has occurred of Father Paulinus on Thursday 17th April 2008 in St. James' Hospital, Dublin.

Paul had been admitted to the hospital for tests on April 4th. That day he had an emergency operation to repair a perforated colon. He rallied after a few days and was moved from intensive care. At this time he was on oxygen and had had a colostomy.

Fr. Paul was quite weak but could often sit at the side of the bed. On the morning of Tuesday 15th April he had a heart attach but sat up in the bed later that day. On Wednesday 16th he was again able to sit by the bed but in the afternoon he had another heart attack. This time he did not recover and died at 2.30 a.m. on the morning of Thursday 17th April.

May he rest in Peace.

Funeral arrangements:

Tuesday April 22, the remains of Mgr. Healy - Fr. Paulinus will be brought to St. Paul's Retreat, Mount Argus at 4.30 p.m. to be laid out in the monastery parlour.

Wednesday April 23, the remains will be removed to St. Paul's Church, Mount Argus at 7.00 p.m.

Funeral Mass Thursday morning April 24, at 11.00 a.m. followed by burial in adjoining Passionist Community Cemetery.
