It is with regret we learned today 2nd Oct. the death of the wife of our colleague Herbert McManus. As a mark of respect to Herbert's wife and family the Executive Council Meeting next Saturday has been posponed...The Naval Association wish to extend our sympathy to Herbert and his immediate family.....Funeral arrangements will be announced later...........................................

    		• At a function held in the Men's Club on Friday 19th September 2008 the President of the Naval Associationa Patrick O'Byrne made a presentation to Petty Officer John O'Neill on the occassion of his early retirement from the Naval Service Reserve. P/O O'Neill had served for 10 years in the Naval Service and then in the Naval Service Reserve up to his retirement.
