Just how big was Glastonbury 2000 ?

The picture taken above only shows a small part of the festival camp-site.
The map above shows the small part that was photogaphed in red.

WANDJANA

Ever wondered why it seems to always be raining in Donegal ? Well it's because for the last 12 years or so Wandjana has been living in LetterK. Wandjana is an Aboriginal rain god. He's painted on the inside of the bark of a tree and is thousands of years old. Have you noticed that the Northern Hemisphere has been covered with cloud for 12 years ? Well do you think Wandjana should go home ?
As an aside and completely unconnected; I recently discovered that Wandjana's current owner brought his partner to Indonesia on holiday some years ago. Where they went it rained for the first time in 56 years.
It poured all through their holiday.

The Mushroom Season
September is that time of year again when the mushies were out. Two years ago however things became a little more conveniant. A Head-Shop in Galway is selling Mexican mushrooms and a Head-Shop in Dublin is selling a variety of psychadelic fungi. Below are a couple of pictures of what's available. The only complaint is that at €15 a shot it's an expensive hit.
More recently a Head Shop in Cork has had it's supplies seized by customs and permission to sell them has not been granted although they are perfectly legal.
Our Táinaiste was reported to want Magic Mushrooms classified as a Class A controlled drug illegal to supply or consume. Making magic illegal in Ireland.
