Teergoneen Court Tomb:

If the day is fine, take the time to walk to the very end of our road. Where it ends, the craggy, rocky Burren landscape takes over. From the end of the road, walk about 50 metres in the direction of 1 o'clock.
Four standing stones remain of Teergoneen Court Tomb, dating from about 3800 BC. The tomb comprised of an open semi circular fore-court most probably used for ceremonial purposes. Behind the fore-court was a narrow entranceway to a long rectangular burial gallery.
Spend some time taking in the silence and the magnificent view of the Atlantic and the Aran Islands. You'll be the latest of a long line of human beings who have been doing the same thing for 6000 years.
