On Tuesday morning at 4.00a.m 6th class of Shanbally National School met in Shanbally carpark to go on a trip to Wales. We set of and travelled for three and a half hours to get to Rosslare. We got the ferry from Rosslare and had a very smooth crossing. The ferry trip took us 3.30-4.00 hours. On the ferry there was a lot of entertainment such as the arcade, the Theatre, the shop and the restaurant. We had a very fun time on the ferry and we all especially loved the dance mat in the arcade. We occupied that for the whole of the trip.
When we got of the ferry we had to travel for an hour to get to the school we were visiting which is called Llanarth Primary School. They were very nice and when we got there they had a big sign welcoming us. On the sign it had three different languages. The three languages were Welsh, English and Irish. As we got out of the bus and into the school grounds we could see all the boys and girls and all the staff ready for us. They invited us into the school for food such as drinks, sandwiches, biscuits and much more. We all enjoyed the food because of the big journey we had.
