Canice's played their second match of the season and
were at home to Conahy. A fine performance by all ensured
a comprehensive win.
The
three midfielders, Aine Curran, Niamh Kelly and Aisling
O'Grady, were in great form and sent in a steady supply
of ball to the forwards. Aoife Nolan opened the scoring
for St Canice's with a well-taken goal from play. Eva
Nicholson pointed from play and goals from Naomi Ni
Chleirigh(2), Niamh Kelly and Eva Nicholson soon followed
giving St Canice's a comprehensive lead at half-time.
St
Canice's continued to exert pressure on the Conahy defence
in the second half with Niamh Kelly, Sonia Buggy, Naomi
Ni Chleirigh(2) and Niamh McGrory finding the net.
