Taghmon-Camross were defeated by Sarsfields by 3-6 to 1-3 in Parc Charman on Saturday evening. Scorers for Taghmon were Micheál O'Grady (1-0), Derek Breen (0-1), Dermot Breen (0-1) and Bernard O'Gorman (0-1).
A foundation level coaching skills course has been organised in conjunction with St. Martin's GAA club. The course will take place in Piercestown this Friday and Saturday (April 9 and 10). Anyone thinking about coaching at any level should attend. Contact secretary, Aindreas Ryan, for more information.
The club congratulates Ger Halligan of the Sarsfields, a business resident of Taghmon, who was appointed Wexford Senior Football manager last week. The club wishes Ger and the Wexford football team every success for the year.
Club membership for the year is due and John Waters has been appointed membership development officer. Anyone who has not renewed membership for the year yet should contact John. Membership dues for the year are £20 and £30 for family membership.
