Taghmon-Camross commenced its Premier B league campaign with a victory over
Naomh Eanna on Saturday afternoon in Taghmon. Taghmon fought back well in the
second half with the help of an Arctic wind to overcome a half time 0-2 to 0-9 deficit
to win by 2-8 to 0-12. The scorers for Taghmon were Jason McLoughlin (1-3),
Micheál O’Grady (1-0), Paddy Fitzpatrick (0-2), Robbie O’Callaghan (0-1), Dermot
Breen (0-1), Derek Breen (0-1). Scorers for Gorey were Billy Byrne (0-3), Mick
Molloy (0-3), Brendan Breen (0-2), Justin Kenny (0-2), and Barry Kinsella (0-2).
Lotto Draw
At the lotto draw last Wednesday the winning numbers were 5-6-17-21.
The jackpot was not won. There were 17 match 3 winners who each receive
£12. The next draw takes place next Thursday (March 18) in The Village Inn,
Taghmon. The jackpot is £2,900.
Membership due
Annual membership is now due and is available from any committee member.
Membership for the year is £20 and £30 for family membership.

Now that the season has started, managers of all teams are requested to get match
reports to PRO, Ulick Stafford, by Sunday evening for inclusion in the paper.
Wedding
The club treasurer, Eoin O’Gorman, married Annette Williams in Barntown church on
Saturday afternoon. The club wishes the happy couple the best wishes for the future.
