The second football team defeated Crossabeg-Ballymurn in Taghmon on Saturday evening by 2-5 to 1-5. The game was played with a bitterly cold Northwesterly wind that favoured Crossabeg in the first half. They led by 1-4 to 0-1 at half time. Taghmon-Camross took more opportunities in the second half. Michael O'Sullivan made a welcome return as a substitute in this match. The scorers were Joe Doyle (0-3, frees), Darragh Kelly (1-0), Gearoid Kelly (1-0), Mick Carty (0-2, 1 free). For Crossabeg-Ballymurn James O'Leary (1-0), Niall McDonald (0-3), James Nolan (0-1), Paul Cullen (0-1).

The first team match against Naomh Eanna was postponed on Sunday because the pitch was unplayable.
