Hurling

The first hurling team drew with Faythe Harriers at Parc Charman on Monday evening last. At half time the score was also level 0-7 to 1-4. Taghmon started the better but were not able to take all opportunities. The scorers were Dave Bury (0-6), Eddie Cousins (1-0), Nicky Cousins (1-0), Darren Colfer (0-2), Gearoid Kelly (0-1), Robbie O’Callaghan (0-1)

The Junior A team plays the first round of the championship against Rapparees on Saturday May 12 at 6 pm in Cushenstown.

County development draw tickets are available from all committee members and in the community centre. The club asks club supporters to buy tickets from the club. The Lotto is up to £8,000. The next draw is next Wednesday. Tickets are available from usual sources. The official opening of the community centre redevelopment is June 17.
