The emblem of the Boy Scouts appears at the top of the memorial, with their motto 'Be Prepared'. The border contains an assortment of symbols associated with scouting skills. The inscription reads: TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN HONOURED MEMORY OF THE DUBLIN BOY SCOUTS WHO FELL IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-1919 The seventy-six names are arranged by surname in three columns and are split into Boy Scouts and Sea Scouts. |
