The six full length windows on the east and west walls of the church each have the same design. Each corner window also has the inscription: These Windows are Erected In Honour of Those Who Served & Fell In the Cause of Freedom 1914-1919
The bronze-memorial has been altered to incorporate casualties from the Second World War. It has a simple border. The main inscription is: In Memoriam "They counted not their life dear unto themselves." IN MEMORY OF Our Fellow Worshippers Who Fell in the Great War 1914-1919
This is followed by the names of twenty-seven casualties. Five casualties of the Second World War are listed under the title 1939-1945. At the bottom of the memorial are the words: 'Rolls of Honour of all those who served in both Wars have been prepared and are preserved with the Church Records." |
