A distinctive attribute of the language is its 3rd person pronouns, or rather its lack of them strictly speaking. Instead, its demonstrative pronouns are used for the same purpose for the most part.

3rd Person & Demonstrative Forms

Ergative Absolutive Adpositive Genitive
`This' ërë ëlen ëre ërës
`That' ahl al ähl ahlett
`Yonder' nän na nälles

The noun äsö

The noun äsö (thing, entity, individual, person) is often used as an impersonal pronoun.
