The Election of the new Passionist SUPERIOR GENERAL in Rome.

Today, the 14th of October, 2006, at 10:20 a.m., on the second ballot,

Most Rev. Ottaviano D'Egidio (of the Presentation Province) was re-elected as Superior General of the Passionist Congregation with more than the 2/3 required votes.
