Piltown

We played our fifth game against Piltown in Palmerstown on Wednesday15th. We were much too strong for them and had an easy victory. At half time St Canices were in a comfortable lead leading by 5.9 to a point.
In the second half we made a few changes, which had a big impact in the game. At the start of the second half there was a lot more pressure on the Canice's backs but they played their way out of pressure but they could only hold on for a while. Then one of the Piltown forwards burst through the Canice's defence but still had to get past Joe Keohane who pulled of a brilliant save.
The Piltown team never gave up and were rewarded with a goal near the end.
There were great performances from Andrew Cantwell, David Glynn and David Gaule.
