Monday April 4th: School closes at 1.50:Staff Meeting/course 2-5pm.
This is the first day back after Easter Holidays.

Final two inservice days for this year are on Thursday 21 April and Friday 29 April.
Confirmation Meeting 8pm Thursday April 7th.

W.S.E. We are delighted with the excellent report we received following our recent whole school evaluation. The whole thrust of the report was extremely positive. When the written report is sent out to us in the next few months it will be available to be read by anyone interested.

Feis Ceoil Congratulations to the A orchestra who came first and the C orchestra who came third. Thanks to Ms. O'Leary, Ms. Lowe, Margaret Patterson, and all the music teachers and parents who travelled or helped out.

Credit Union Quiz Both our Senior team Fiona Tuite, Peter Turley, Dylan Maher and David O'Neill and our Junior team Adam Farrell, Eoin Gough, Thomas Carroll and Diarmuid Hickey have qualified for the All-Ireland Final in the RDS on April 10th. This is a first for the school and we all wish them well. They also won 400 euro for the school. Thanks to Ms. Sheehan for all her work

Book Fair Following the Book Fair last week, 2000 euro worth of books was acquired by the school. Thank you for your generosity.

Cancer Research 6th class had set 200 daffodil bulbs in the autumn planning to sell daffodils for Daffodil Day. Unfortunately they had not bloomed in time so Susan Ryan and Siobhan Healy organised a “No-Uniform” day to raise funds. A total of 642 euro was raised. Well done to all.

Handball Aidan Nolan and Cillian Buckley (6th) represented the school in U13 D handball. They were unlucky to be knocked out by a more experienced Thomastown side in the quarter-final.
Aoife Nolan and Karen Cleere (6th) represented the school in U13 D Girls. They won the county final and now go on to represent our school and Kilkenny in the Leinster Finals. Go n-eiri an t-adh leo.

Camogie Seven -a-side camogie team have qualified for the next round of the competition.
Easter Raffle Draw will be held Tuesday morning.
