WELCOMEWelcome, to our new look Monthly Newsletter keeping you up to date with all that is happening in the 35th Dublin CSI Beaver Section. We have a number of items happening this month.WEB-PAGEOver the past number of months a web-page has been developed for the Beaver Section which is nearing completion. The web-page contains a number of different items such as the monthly newsletters , history page etc.It will be officially launched at our investiture in May 2002 but will be complete by Mid-February 2002. I would ask all parents with Net Access to check it out on : http://homepage.eircom.net/~35dublinbeavers Many Thanks to David Walsh for his work and vision on the page you will agree it is a great information tool for the colony. MEMBERSHIPWe currently have 3 places left in the 35th Beaver Colony , If you know anyone who has a child who wants to join the Beavers please ask them to either bring them down on Wednesday nights or contact any member of the Beaver Team.Weekly Subs :Weekly Subs are €3.00 per meeting. Sometimes people miss a week of subs and it is expected that you bring the subs up the following week. I would ask that all people try and bring subs up-to-date before the end of the month. Subs cover items such as insurance and registration , materials , light , heat etc.BEAVER OF THE MONTH AWARDEager Beaver of the Month Christine Mates Elder Beaver of the Month Mark Kelly ART COMPETITIONWe have extended the closing day for the art competition to 13th February 2002. More templates are available from any of the leader team.The winners will be announced on February 24th 2002 on our Activity in Larch Hill. |
VALENTINES ACTIVITY.There will be a Beaver Activity on Wednesday 13th February 2002 @ 6.30pm. We are going to Lesuireplex in Tallaght for a game of Bowling & Quazar. We need lifts on the night for going out and coming back and the meeting will end at the later time of 9.00pm. The cost of this activity is €9.00 per Beaver. LARCH HILL We will be having a day out in Larch Hill on Sunday 24th February 2002. We will be meeting in the Den at 10.45am and we require lifts for the journey up to Larch Hill and back. Every Beaver needs to bring a packed lunch and some warm clothes and their neco and woggle. We will be returning to the Den @ approx. 4.15-4.30pm. The cost of the day is €4.00. BEAVERS BIG DAY OUT !!!The Beaver Team will be meeting on Wednesday 20th February 2002 to make a decision about the Beaver Big Day Out.
