We meet on a Wednesday night in the Scout Den on Church Road in Killiney (in Dun Laoghaire district) from 9.00pm.

We have about 12 Ventures...some ex-scouts, some with no Scouting background at all!

At meetings, we organise stuff like camps,hikes, fundraising and events in general.....Drink lots of coffee and play violent games (see Ventureball below)(or have you ever played Donkey with an icelandic tent??)

It's kind of a mixture between Rugby and Piggy in the middle. There are two teams, girls against guys. One team tries to keep the ball from the other team..The other team tries to retrieve the ball by any means necessary...tickling, pulling, tackling, dangerous off-the ball attacks (by Ailbhe). Eventually, one team gets bored and carries the ball out the door and then claims to have "Won".
